Patient Portal by TeleMed finally offers the medical practice the means to allow web-based communications between the patients and the practice which increases patient satisfaction, lowers practice costs, and allows the prioritizing of responses. In addition, Patient Portal by TeleMed allows “free space” for simple downloading of existing forms, dramatically improving the patient experience. Also, the template allows a practice to easily create a billing and payments page by downloading data from the billing system.
Patient Profiles: The patient first logs onto the portal and creates a profile including all contact information, current medications, and insurance information. Once the practice has confirmed the patient’s data, the user can immediately begin communicating with the practice.
HIPAA Compliance: All information is handled in full accordance with HIPAA regulations. All information is sent via secure servers, housed at TeleMed facilities.
